Police: Man to face mur-der, other charges in officer’s dea-th

GILBERT, Ariz. (AP) – A person arrested in the dea-th of 1 Arizona police officer and severe harm of one other after they had been struck by a stolen car will face charges of mur-der and other crimes, police stated.

Jonathan Altland, 25, was transported to a hospital for unspecified accidents after being taken into custody late Thursday evening at a Gilbert auto dealership the place Chandler police Officer Christopher Farrar was fatally injured and Gilbert police Officer Rico Aranda suffered a head harm, the Gilbert Police Department stated Friday evening in an announcement.
